By solving a Marchenko equation, Green’s functions at an arbitrary (inner) depth level inside unknown elastic layered medium can be retrieved from single-sided reflection data, which are collected the top of medium. To date, it has only been possible to obtain exact solution if obeyed stringent monotonicity conditions and all forward-scattered (non-converted converted) transmissions between acquisition inner were known priori. We introduce alternative equation by revising window operators that applied in its derivation. also auxiliary for transmission bottom medium, coupled is based on both data. show joint system succesfully inverted when broadband data available. This results novel methodology elastodynamic function retrieval two-sided Apart these our approach requires P- S-wave times as well two angle-dependent amplitude scaling factors, estimated enforcing energy conservation.
